Webber played 15 seasons in the NBA and was selected into five All-Star teams and five All-NBA teams. He won the Rookie of the Year in 1994 and holds career averages of 20.7 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per match.
This is considered by many to be a long-awaited honor for Webber, who retired in 2008 and has been eligible to join Halle’s since 2013.
Warriors made Weber the first choice in their 1993 draft after two great seasons in Michigan as part of the Fab Five. He moved to Washington and then Sacramento, where he had his best seasons in the NBA. He later played for Philadelphia and Detroit before ending his career with the Golden State.
