I wrote a few days ago about supporting terrorism Imam Irfan Shishti MBE, Who endorsed an anti-Semitic tweet he wrote Ahmed Thompson (Including more later), which the UK government is pushing to combat Islamic extremism.

Another such imam is Read Asim MBE who is serving as a consultant on Islamophobia for the UK government. Gari Asim is a prominent imam in Leeds and chair of the National Advisory Council of Mosques and Imams. Critics suspect him of being Islamist, but the British Jewish Parliament (BOD) and the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, defend Qari Assem for his commitment to fighting extremism and promoting interfaith harmony. Here is an example of how this can be applied.

In the wake of the recent war between Israel and Hamas and the rising climate of anti-Semitism in the United Kingdom, Qari Asim and Laura Janner Klausner, a former senior rabbi and head of the reform of Judaism, pledged to work together to fight Dislikes:

… we must also stand against the comforting hatred of those who want to divide us. A good example of this occurred on Sunday when Tommy Robinson, the far-right, known as Islamophobia, attended a pro-Israel rally in London in an incendiary act. The organizers refused to support him and his presence quickly made it clear that he was not welcome by the organizers, as well as the main Jewish community groups.

In the face of intentionally divisive personalities and false allies, we must be clear that hate against one group can never mean solidarity with another group …

In light of the sentiments expressed above, it is disturbing to discover that Qari Asim is a follower of the infamous but notorious Holocaust deniers on Twitter. Ahmed Thompson.

Who is Ahmed Thompson?

Martin Thompson was born in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) Ahmed Thompson is Lawyer Who is the he moved To England and converting to Islam from Christianity in London in 1973. He co-founded the Muslim Bar Association and authored a number of books, some of them under the title Plots of the “New World Order” type where the hands of the Jews lie behind every lever of power. Other titles such as “Dajjal: The Anti-Christ” are attempts to predict an end-time eschatological narrative based on a strange mixture of Christian and Islamic theology.

Historian David Cesarani wrote in the Guardian in September 2005 Indicated:

… The Muslim Council of Britain appears to be prisoners of many myths about the Holocaust. One of them is that the memorial is a Jewish-Zionist plot to incite guilt among non-Jews and foster sympathy for Israel. This link came in disturbing terms by Ahmed Thompson, of the Muslim Bar Association. Thompson described the reference to the deaths of 6 million Jews a “big lie.” He claims that the Jews do not have the right to a state and sees “evil” groups trying to achieve a “Zionist plan” by putting pressure on the government.

In the same month, The Telegraph I showed:

… Tony Blair decided to launch a war on Iraq after being influenced by a “sinister” group of Jews and Freemasons, and a Muslim lawyer, an advisor to the prime minister, claimed …

… Mr. Thompson wrote a book in 1994 in which he stated that Freemasons and Jews dominate the governments of Europe and America …

… he also wrote that the Jews do not have the right to live in the “Holy Land” because they are not a pure race and therefore not the true biblical Israelites and that Saddam used an excuse for US forces – “including thousands of Jews” – to occupy Saudi Arabia.

… a government spokesman confirmed last night that ministers and officials had consulted Mr. Thompson on issues relating to Muslims, but refused to be open to his views. “We talk to a lot of people, including many who do not necessarily agree with them in their views,” she said.

Ahmed Thompson is also an ardent supporter of an anti-Western plot. In December 2020, Thompson Spread Iranian Press TV plot alleging that Covid-19 was an American Biowarfare plot imposed on China.

Thomson’s Twitter feed reveals – among other things – Piccadillo to remind world leaders and religious dignitaries – like Justin Welby – the evils of Zionism and is rife with incendiary material. Like most anti-Semites, he is trying to frame his hatred of Jews as support for the Palestinians and anti-Zionism. With his focus on race, Jews and his professed love for Islam coupled with his inability to completely abandon Christianity, Thompson can be portrayed as a Muslim Nazi.

Qari Asim’s Twitter following of Ahmed Thompson does not, of course, constitute endorsement of his tweets. However, there is no evidence to suggest otherwise either.

Even more disturbing is the fact that in 2015, Continental is Asim Advertised An Islamic conference was to be attended by:

It so happened that Irfan Chisti and Ahmed Thompson were also distinguished speakers at the same conference in 2015. At the time, Irfan Chisti was still under the radar, but Qari Asim could not have imagined him being in the dark about Ahmed Thompson’s Nazi-like beliefs. That was first disclosed in 2005 by mainstream media, which Books It was – and still is – available for purchase on Amazon.

By a strange coincidence, the three men had at one point or another acted as advisers to the UK government on matters related to Islam.

It quickly becomes clear that there is a double standard in the game: Qari Asim has not spoken publicly against Ahmed Thompson’s participation in Muslim community events in the same way he used against Tommy Robinson in Jewish community events. Nor did he challenge Thompson on Twitter about his promotion of anti-Western propaganda, Press TV, Jewish conspiracies and Khazar myths, views that hardly lead to interfaith harmony and something that Qari Asim can do given that he follows Thompson.
