Woods’ current goal is to walk alone: The champ said 15 times after a car accident that the ability to walk remains his top priority.
Tiger Woods is currently still recovering after his serious February car accident in Los Angeles. Woods suffered incredible damage to his femur and shin bone, which required rods and pins to aid in his stability.
Since the accident, his days have been going through tough days rehabilitating his right leg that has suffered the most. However, the 15-time lead winner is no stranger to injuries throughout his career undergoing multiple surgeries.
“This was a completely different animal.
I understand more rehab because of my past injuries, but this was more painful than anything I have ever experienced. “
The 45-year-old is pictured around Los Angeles on crutches, smiling clearly as he gets better. Although there is a long way to go in icon rehab before we consider golf. For Woods, he insists walking first remains his first priority.
“My natural treatment kept me busy.
“I do my routine every day and I’m focused on my number one goal now: to walk on my own. Take it one step at a time.”
Woods’ last PGA Tour event was the 2020 Masters which has been postponed to November due to coronavirus. For now, comfort remains the key to the golf myth as fans are hoping that he somehow returns to golf.
