Wow! Yo Gotti got into the gram with a new track that the ladies have to postpone until this summer, and while his comment section was full of tons of fiery emojis, many fans questioned the complexions of the women he chose for the video.
If you’ve all been waiting for the summer anthem, this might be it! Yo Gotti released “DROP” featuring Da Baby and the visuals scream a hot girly summer. The video with dozens of girls in shorts and cute bikinis takes place at a pool party at the mansion.
The song could have been bop and the visuals were fun, but some of Yo Gotti’s fans couldn’t help but notice the fact that they didn’t see many black women in the video he posted.
“I have not seen a beautiful melanin woman in this video, I cannot understand it,” one woman wrote.
“Mmm, that gives a lot of colorist. Lmao, then you’re going to play one brown skinned girl for a split second, I can see what’s going on here, ”another fan commented.
On the other hand, some fans criticized the desire of dark-skinned and dark-skinned women to appear in videos sexualizing women.
“Why are we surprised, and most importantly – why do we care? These are not spaces that we would even like to be represented in, in the next case, ”said one woman who entered the Shade Room.
Da Baby is just part of the song, but he also drew some criticism from fans for his connection with DaniLey… If you remember meeting Da Baby earlier this year, Dani announced a new song called “Yellow Bone,” and let’s just say people didn’t really like the lyrics that praise the fair skinned.
What do you think, neighbors? Should Yo Gotti be more selective with girls in his video? Let us know in the comments.
