The Arab Horse Association of the Emirates, through visual communication technologies, held the first forum of Arab horse owners and breeders at the direction of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Presidential Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Horse Association of the Emirates, and under the supervision of and under the leadership of Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan, deputy chairman of the board of directors of the association.
Muhammad al-Harbi, CEO of the Society, confirmed that the first forum was aimed at discussing and exchanging views on the various services provided by the Society in order to listen to and discuss the views and suggestions of owners and teachers as they are partners. The next season is part of a comprehensive plan for the development of national cadres across all disciplines, including disciplinary committees, referees and laureates, and that the schedule and conditions for next season’s events will be announced on the association’s website before the start of activities.
Discussions included 5 axes. The first axis focused on registration and documentation services, which included mechanisms for registering Arab horses, registering imported Arab horses and exported Arab horses, adding a horse race name, registering an Arab stud farm, transferring ownership of Arab horses, updating owner details and issuing certificates of ownership. Arab horses, as well as the issuance of a passport to replace those lost, in addition to reporting the death of an Arab horse.
The second axis, which focused on birth registration services, included two categories of local Arab horses and Arabian embryo transfer, and the third axis included veterinary services in every detail, while the fourth axis included e-services including a website, new user creation and opening the door for tournament registration. The fifth axis of discussion concerns events and activities, including the Arabian Horse Beauty Championships, as well as the national cadre of judges and citizens.
