During interview with Deadline about the shocking finale of the third season ABCfrom A million little things, TV series creator / executive producer DJ Nash opened a large number of episodes of 4 seasons.
“We’re doing 20 episodes this year,” he said. “This is the biggest season we’ve ever had.”
The serialized drama about a close-knit group of friends produced 17 episodes in the first season, 19 in the second season, and 18 in the third season affected by the coronavirus.
Nash pointed to the large order as a sign that ABC has confidence in the series’ long-term prospects.
“Since we have an order for 20 episodes, it doesn’t look like ABC wants this to be our final season,” he said.
And Nash is confident that the writers, directors and cast of the show will do just that.
“There is no doubt that we have enough to film 20 incredible episodes this season,” said Nash.
