Alaba put himself under the leadership of the team’s coach, Italian Carlo Ancelotti, who trained under him during his technical responsibility for Bayern Munich, a day after officially presenting him as a player in the ranks of the royal family, in the first deals of the 2021-2022 season.

Alaba took part in training alongside his new teammates at the Baldebebas stadium, after signing his 5-year contract and wearing the number 4 shirt left behind by former captain Sergio Ramos, who recently came to Paris Saint-Germain .

The squad, which will play a friendly against Rangers at Ibrox Stadium next Sunday, completed a series of possession exercises, pressing, tactical penalties, running and many small-field matches. The Royal will resume training at 10 a.m., the club confirms.
