Brazilian star striker Richarlison put on a show at the Olympics against Germany, scoring a hat-trick in the first 45 minutes of action.
The 2020 Tokyo Olympics could not have started better for the Brazilian national team. While the bad memories of losing the Copa America Final to Argentina are still fresh in their minds, it seems that the South Americans have expressed their anger at the poor Germans.
Indeed, Brazil recorded a 4-2 victory on Thursday, with Richarlison stealing the show. The Everton striker is making sure things happen before the English Premier League season starts next month. He recorded a hat-trick against Germany in the first half alone.
Richarlison scored three goals for Brazil in the 4-2 win over Germany
As you can see in the videos above, Richarlison showed why he is so dangerous to score when on the field. The crazy thing about this performance is that he was able to score those three goals so quickly, scoring his third in the 30th minute.
However, Germany certainly made it interesting by reducing the deficit to 3-2 in the second half. However, a red card in the 63rd minute for Maximilian Arnold made things complicated. However, Brazilian star Paulinho hit the nail in the coffin in stoppage time by firing a rocket into the back of the net to close the score at 4-2.
For Germany, the country is coming off a disappointing show at the European Championship. Any hope of starting the Olympics with a bang was swept away by the Brazilians. Brazil is considered one of the favorites to take home the gold medal in the tournament this summer and with good reason. It’s going to be a tough team to beat, especially with Richarlison playing so well.
