Xtra Time Web Desk: Ravindra Jadeja scored back in the 1950s in the match, while Mayank Agarwal and Hanuma Vihari spent some precious time in the center on the final day of India’s warm-up match against County XI at the Riverside Ground in Durham on Thursday.

Earlier in the day, the visitors threw out the County XI for 220 runs.

Mayank Agarwal (47 of 81) led off the at bat with Cheteswar Pujara (38 of 58). The duo shared an 87-point tie that ended when Agarwal charged the wicket to off-spinner Jack Carson, but was caught halfway through by his Indian teammate Washington Sundar.

Like Agarwal, Pujara also had the chance to get a big score to boost his confidence ahead of the first Test. However, he fell into Carson’s trap and shot one right in the leg.

Jadeja (51 out of 77) and Vihari (43 out of 105) then tied for 84 points before the left-hander retired. Jadeja had scored 75 in the first innings.

The match did not have the same intensity as the first two days and the match is heading for a boring draw. To the opposition’s surprise, India declared shortly after Jadeja completed his fifty with 33 overs left in the game.

County XI hit 15.5 overs and scored 31 without losing a wicket before the players shook hands.
