Former Zamalek Club president Mortada Mansour, in a post on his personal social media page, attacked the committee in charge of managing the Oval Club headed by Hassan Labib.
Mortada Mansour and the management of Zamalek management
Mortada Mansour said: “They have been marred by the dignity of the club, the country that went into the treasury after the legs of these committees gave our club over £300million, and sadly they lost it. Instead they followed the approach of Mamdouh Abbas, who destroyed the club and destroyed it athletically and structurally over a period of 9 years.”

He added: “When they, like him, borrowed £70 million and exposed the club by opening the door to donations, the old club became an object of ridicule and a treat from some mental patients.”

He continued: “While the competing club has won at the local and continental levels, it has won 5 championships since the ouster of our elected legit council, and these illegally held committees did not buy Kochi’s shoe and sign a super player the size of the players of the team at the moment.”

He continued: “The committee responsible did not buy a single chair for the members, but rather destroyed everything we had built in 6 years, and God willing, relief is near.”
