After a scorching mid-season run, it looks like the finals are back on the table for Ricky Stuart’s Raiders after two straight wins that have breathed new life into their season.
Sitting at 16 points in ninth on the ladder, the Raiders have the Sharks’ eighth spot in their sights and will have to hit the maximum number of points in their run home for the season.
They will have to do their job for them tonight against the Eels who have their own goals higher up the ladder to maintain a place in the top four.
But in a big blow to the Raiders, they’ll have to battle starless five-eighth Jack Wighton and rookie star Xavier Savage.
For the Eels, star halfback Mitchell Moses has been sidelined after it was revealed earlier this week that he broke his back during his Origin debut. Coach Brad Arthur’s son, Jakob, steps in to replace Moses.
Tonight’s clash will also see the return of fan favorite Blake Ferguson, who has been recalled to the match day squad in place of Haze Dunster.
