NHL fans fell in love with the Seattle Kraken’s home and away shirts during the Expansion Draft on Wednesday.

July 21, 2021 is an important day for the NHL as the Seattle Kraken officially announced their starting roster ahead of the upcoming season. Of course the selection is far from final, because the trade/freeze waiver/ will be lifted on Thursday, July 22 at 1 p.m. ET.

During that event, some of the players selected by the Kraken took the stage and unveiled the franchise’s official home and away jerseys. Former Florida Panthers goalkeeper Chris Driedger was the first to unveil the home jerseys, while ex-New York Islanders forward Jordan Eberle took the podium in the official jersey.

The home jerseys feature a prominent “deep sea blue” color, according to NHL.com. The jerseys feature the “S” squid logo in the center of the logo, along with the secondary anchor logos on the shoulders, which are in an “ice blue” color.

Seattle Kraken Away Shirt

The away shirts, like all NHL away shirts, are white in color. However, the logos and color scheme remain the same on the road jerseys.
