According to media reports, the Dutch Football Association today reached an agreement with coach Louis van Gaal to lead the “orange” team to replace Frank de Boer, who has resigned.

And the newspaper “De Telegraaf” reported that Dutch coach Van Gaal, 69, agreed to lead his country’s “talented and inexperienced” team during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

According to the newspaper, the KNVB and Van Gaal “have just reached agreement that Van Gaal will start his third term at the head of the Dutch national team.”

She added that Van Gaal will withdraw his decision to withdraw from coaching, which he took in January 2017.

Van Gaal’s appointment comes after De Boer resigned at the end of last month, after the Netherlands was eliminated from the final prize of the European Cup 2020 at the hands of the Czech Republic.

Van Gaal first took over training for the Dutch National Team between 2000 and 2002, before returning for a second time from 2012 to 2014 to lead the “Tawteen” team to third place at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, moving then to coach Manchester United, but was completed. He was sacked two days after winning the FA Cup in 2016.
