Victoria has recorded 14 new local cases of COVID-19, all linked to the current outbreak.
Ten of the 14 cases were in quarantine for the entire period of infection, and one of the other four cases is still under investigation.
Yesterday, the state reported the highest daily number this year at 26 local cases, but nearly all of them were in isolation during the contagion period, and authorities said there were clear signs the lockdown was working.
The lockdown is currently set to end at 11:59 p.m. Tuesday, after it was extended by a week.
In the meantime, more places have been added to Victoria’s list of exposure sites, which now stands at more than 390.
More information is expected this morning about test numbers and movements of new cases in the community.
14,302 doses of vaccine were administered in state-run centers.
More is coming.
