The Ministry of Community Development, represented by the National Program for Happiness and Quality of Life, held the “Community Design Forum for Quality of Life in the UAE” under the guidance and follow-up of Her Excellency Hessa bint Issa Buhumaid, Minister of Community Development and chairman of the Council for Quality of Life.
Held as an interactive session through visual communication technology, the forum included 5 brainstorming workshops within 5 key themes that brought together 154 participants and representatives from 36 federal and local government agencies and the private sector, and proposed quality of life policies through the community design platform. The Forum on Community Design for Quality of Life Initiatives discussed mental health, physical health, financial health, giving, volunteering and the quality of social life, in separate sessions, involving hundreds of community stakeholders and stakeholders, including students, youth, seniors, determined people and the rest of society.
Moza Ibrahim Al Akraf Al Suwaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Community Development, confirmed that by organizing the Forum, the Ministry embodies a forward-looking mindset that looks forward to the next 50 years that will be the best for our society and our country, with efforts that we share with different authorities and different groups of society based on the vision and guidelines of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, when he adopted the national strategy for quality of life 2031.
