The Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation has provided humanitarian aid, including food and blankets, through the UAE embassy in Brazil, to families affected by the flooding that has hit some areas there and caused the displacement of thousands of people . This is based on the Foundation’s humanitarian goals and its willingness to provide urgent assistance to those affected by natural disasters, to alleviate the suffering of families, especially children, the elderly and the sick in urgent need of help and assistance. Hamad Salem bin Kardoos Al Ameri, director general of the Foundation, said that, based on the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed Humanitarian, and His Highness Sheikh Omar bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, we worked directly to communicate with the UAE Embassy in Brazil to provide assistance. At the expense of the Foundation, and are doing everything we can to help those affected, and we are still in touch to follow the correct procedures to carry out the humanitarian mission, to achieve the values ​​and the message we have on us contribute to providing assistance to those in need and those affected, and to prioritize life’s necessities, such as shelter and food, until life returns to normal.
Al-Amiri concluded his statement by praying for those affected that God would ease their tragedy, and he also expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and wished recovery for the sick and injured.
