The Sacramento Kings reportedly bought big man Tristan Thompson from the Boston Celtics on Friday in a trade with three teams, including the Atlanta Hawks.
Boston gets point guard Kris Dunn, big man Bruno Fernando and a 2023 second round draft pick from the Hawks, while Atlanta gets point guard Delon Wright from the Kings.
In his only season with the Celtics, 30-year-old Thompson averaged 7.6 points and 8.1 rebounds in 54 games (43 starts) last season. He spent his first nine seasons with the Cleveland Cavaliers and has a career average of 9.3 points and 8.7 rebounds in 673 games (472 starts).
Dunn, 27, appeared in just four games for the Hawks last season due to an ankle injury. He has career averages of 8.2 points, 4.1 assists and 3.3 rebounds in 231 games (126 starts) over five seasons with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Chicago Bulls and Hawks.
Fernando, 22, averaged 1.5 points and 2.4 rebounds in 33 games off the bench last season in his second NBA campaign.
Wright, 29, split between the Detroit Pistons and Kings last season, scoring an average of 10.2 points, 4.4 assists and 4.3 rebounds in 63 games (39 starts). He has career numbers of 7.8 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 334 games (62 starts) over six seasons with five teams.
