Westville Accident: Gloucester County, NJ Accident kills father, 2 daughters and niece

Westville, New Jersey (WPVI) – Four members of a family were killed Saturday night in an accident in Gloucester County, New Jersey.

It happened around 9pm on the 1000 block of Gateway Boulevard in Westville.

Action News learned that 33-year-old George Ritter, his two daughters, aged five and nine, and their young niece were killed in the crash.

A temporary memorial has been erected at the crash site. One of the crosses of the monument reads, “RIP Alivia, Elsie, Kenzi and George.”

Ritter allegedly bumped into a utility pole as the family was returning home from a chimpanzee’s birthday party at the nearby Westville Power Boat Association.

Police have not released any information about the cause of the accident.
