SALINAS (CBS SF) — An earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale struck a mountain range in Monterey County Tuesday morning.
According to the US Geological Survey, the quake struck at 9:09 am in the Gabilan Range, just north of Pinnacles National Park. The site is about 21 kilometers northeast of Soledad and about 40 kilometers east-southeast of Salinas.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
