Premiership Tiger weighs his future

Richmond’s Josh Caddy considering his future at Punt Road, reports The Herald Sun.

Tiger made just nine games in 2021 and was unable to secure a spot on Damien Hardwick’s side, averaging 12.5 disposals and scoring two goals.

Caddy, who scored 46 goals as a regular attacker in 2018, has sometimes been deployed on a wing in the past two seasons.

The Herald Sun understands that Richmond would be open to trading Caddy if the deal satisfies both parties.

The 28-year-old has scored 164 goals in 174 appearances for the Tigers, Geelong and Gold Coast since making his AFL debut in 2011.

He has a contract with Richmond until the end of 2022.

Tiger couple Daniel Rioli (2022) and Rhyan Mansell (2023) signed contract extensions on Tuesday.
