WITTER (CBSLA) — Crews were busy extinguishing a bushfire that burned Friday at a car wash in the Whittier Narrows area.
The Rosemead Fire broke out around 1:10 p.m. near Rosemead Boulevard and Gallatin Road, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
At 4:15 pm the fire was extinguished about 20. LA County Fire said it burned in a medium to heavy brush, moving northeast.

Rosemead Blvd. was closed between San Gabriel Blvd. and Gallatin Road. because of the fire.
Los Angeles County and Montebello Fire Departments were on the scene to bring the flames under control.
No construction was immediately threatened.
