Chris Eubank Jr vs Anatoli Muratov will not take place tonight at the SSE Arena, Wembley.
Sky Sports Saturday Fight Night continues with a packed card featuring European title clash between Avanesyan and Taylor, English title eliminator between Germaine Brown and Jamal Le Doux, plus stars Richard Riakporhe and Ebonie Jones.
Muratov will not be able to fight in the fight with Eubank Jr tonight after the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBofC) raised concerns about pre-fight medical records.
As the health and safety of our boxers is paramount and the remaining time frame does not allow for finding a suitable quality replacement opponent, the fight has been canceled and Eubank will not appear on tonight’s card.
The highly anticipated European Welterweight Championship fight between Manchester’s David Avanesyan and Liam Taylor has been elevated to the top of the stacked map, including England’s Super Middleweight title eliminator between Germaine Brown and Jamal Le Doux; the exciting return of the most exciting British cruiserweight Richard Riakporhe; the pro debut of elite amateur Ebonie Jones; the return of cruiserweight talent Mikael Lawal; dynamite punching Joe Pigford; rising middleweight star Linus Udofia; hot-tipped super bantamweight prospect Alireza Ghadiri and undefeated flyweight Harvey Horn.
