Juan Gomez de Liaño plays sparingly in Japan B.League debut

MANILA, Philippines — Still looking for form, Juan Gomez de Liaño barely played in his debut for Earthfriends Tokyo Z in Japan’s B.League Division 2 on Saturday.

Gomez de Liaño scored just three minutes and had two points, an assist and a steal in Tokyo Z’s 89-82 loss against the Kagawa Five Arrows at Temple Municipal Gymnasium.

Australian center Angus Brandt led Kagawa by 26 points

Haitian great man Marc-Eddy Norelia rode Tokyo Z with 28 points.

Gomez de Liaño’s older brother, Javi, has yet to make his debut for the Ibaraki Robots in Division 1 due to quarantine.
