(CBS DETROIT) – The Postmaster General, Louis DeJoy, plans to delay deliveries and raise prices to balance the budget for postal services.
This means that almost 40% of first class mail takes five days instead of three.
In addition, shipping Christmas cheer will also be more expensive, with shipping costs rising to $5 per package through December 26.
