Queiroz Announces List of Pharaohs to Confront Libya – Jerusalem

Cairo, (AFP) – The Egyptian national team coaching staff, led by Portugal’s Carlos Queiroz, has released the final list of the pharaohs who will join the preparatory camp for the Libyan matches on October 8 and 11, as part of of the African qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The most prominent excluded from the roster were Kirosh Mohamed Hamdi (Pyramids), Mohamed Abdel Shafi (Zamalek) due to injury, Mohamed Magdy “Afsha” (Al-Ahly), Ahmed Yasser Rayan (Altay Sport Turkish), Mustafa Fathi (Zamalek) , Ahmed Samir and Muhannad Lashin (Tala’a El-Jaish).), and Sami Morsi (Ipswich, England).

Here’s the lineup for the camp starting Saturday:
Goalkeepers: Muhammad Al-Shennawi (Al-Ahly), Muhammad Abu Jabal (Zamalek), Muhammad Bassam (Tala’a Al-Jaish), Muhammad Sobhi (Farco).
Defence: Akram Tawfiq (Al-Ahly), Ahmed Hegazy (Saudi Federation), Baher Al-Mohammadi (Ismaili), Mahmoud Hamdi “Al-Wensh” (Zamalek), Yasser Ibrahim (Al-Ahly), Ahmed Abu Al-Fotouh ( Zamalek) and Ayman Ashraf (Al-Ahly).

Midfielder: Mohamed Elneny (Arsenal, England), Amr Al-Sulayya (Al-Ahly), Tarek Hamed (Zamalek) and Hamdi Fathi (Al-Ahly).
