MANILA, Philippines – Jack Animam made her presence felt with a dominant debut to lead Radnicki Kragujevac to a narrow 78-77 win over Proleter 023 in Serbia’s First Women’s Basketball League.
National University’s 6-foot-5 center stomped her class with 20 points, 14 rebounds, two steals and two blocks and converted a clutch basket to lead her team to victory.
Animam gave Radnicki a 76-71 lead after clearing Andrea Glomazic’s miss with half a minute to go.
This is her first spell as a professional and the second abroad after playing as a graduate student for Shih Hsin University in the Taiwan University Basketball Association.
Animam and Radnicki will face defending champion Crvena Zvezda the following Saturday.
