Sky News presenter Paul Murray says the public and media reaction to the resignation of NSW Prime Minister Gladys Berejiklian has been “very extreme”.
“I’ve always got along with her, I’ve supported her premiership, I think she was a great leader for New South Wales,” said Mr Murray.
“But again, the reaction was very extreme.
Mr Murray referred to people who “literally hung blazers from the front of their houses or greeted her as if she were an ANZAC.”
“This seemed to be all over the internet.”
