According to India Today, the drug raid was carried out by the National Central Bank officials on the Corelia Cruises’ Empress and several people were taken for questioning.

Several videos emerged from the National Central Bank office on Saturday evening in which officials were seen receiving young men for questioning.

Speaking to ANI, he said, “Eight people – Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, Monmon Damisha, Nupur Sarika, Esmeet Singh, Mohak Jaswal, Vikrant Chowker and Jaumet Chopra – are being questioned in connection with the raid at an alleged delirious party on a cruise off the coast of India. Mumbai (sic)”. NCB sources revealed to India Today that Aryan’s phone has been seized and is being checked to see if there was any kind of contact or involvement in drug possession. Aryan Khan’s talks will also be investigated, India Today revealed, citing NCB sources.

The National Commercial Bank has reportedly received a tip-off regarding the cruise party which was scheduled to set sail at 2pm on October 2 and return to Mumbai around 10am on October 4. The raid was carried out by National Commercial Bank officials led by District Manager Samir Wankidi after receiving a report.

Wankedi’s team disguised themselves as passengers and boarded the cruise to carry out the raid. The report revealed that the rave party started as soon as the cruise reached the middle of the sea.

Apart from Aryan Khan, many other people were taken in for questioning. Annie wrote on Twitter on Sunday morning that three women from Delhi had also been brought for investigation purposes to the National Central Bank office. “Three women, all residents of Delhi, have been brought to the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in Mumbai for questioning in connection with the raid of a delirious party on a cruise off the coast of Mumbai yesterday,” ANI wrote on Twitter.
