Burj Khalifa lit up in honor of Mahatma Gandhi’s 152nd birthday

Honoring the Father of the Nation [India], Dubai’s iconic Burj Khalifa lit up with stunning images of Mahatma Gandhi and the flag of India – to mark his 152nd birthday on Saturday, October 2.

“Be the change you want to see in the world” – Mahatma Gandhi. #BurjKhalifa celebrates #Gandhi by honoring the father of a nation who has been an inspiration for generations.

Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated annually on October 2nd and is one of the three national holidays of India and also marked as the International Day of Nonviolence!

Mahatma Gandhi was also paid tribute at the Consulate General of India, Dubai

“It is time to usher in a new era of peace, trust and tolerance. On this International Day of Nonviolence – Gandhi’s birthday – let us heed his message of peace and commit to a better future for all.”

This inspiring message was shared by United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on the much-celebrated occasion.
