A two-year-old boy was rushed to hospital after drinking from a bottle he found in a playground in Adelaide.
Emergency services were called to a home in Clearview Crescent, Clearview, just before noon on Tuesday after the little boy “dipped the unknown liquid and passed out,” a SA police spokeswoman said.
He had been in the park with his mother.
The boy’s father called 911 after the couple returned home.
The SA police are said to have searched the park for the bottle so that the liquid could be forensically tested.
He was taken to Women’s and Children’s Hospital, where he remains in stable condition, police said.
The investigation continues and anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000.
