Falcons CB Isaiah Oliver out of season with knee injury

Things are getting more and more frustrating for the 1-3 Atlanta Falcons as they prepare for Sunday’s game against the 1-3 New York Jets in London.

ESPN’s Mike Rothstein reports that Isaiah Oliver, who starts at Atlanta cornerback, will miss the rest of the season and will require surgery to repair the knee injury he sustained in Sunday’s 34-30 loss to the Washington Football Team.

Oliver was taken off the field on Sunday and placed on the injured reserve on Tuesday, meaning he will have to miss a minimum of three games per league rules. It now looks like he won’t be returning until next year:
