Nathan Coulter-Nile played with the ball when Mumbai Indians (MI) limited the Rajasthan Royals (RR) to 90 runs. They then chased the target within 8.2 overs in Sharjah.
Coulter-Nile transferred first blood in the fourth in the first innings and then the Royals never recovered. At the post-game press conference, Nathan Coulter-Nile admitted that the wicket was a bit sticky, which made life difficult for the batters.
“I just tried to keep it simple. It was a hard wicket to save. I tried to change the pace a bit. It kind of stuck. I don’t worry if I get bowled,” Nathan Coulter said- Nile.

Nathan Coulter-Nile recorded his best IPL numbers and returned 4/14 in his four overs. He was good for Yashasvi Jaiswal, Glenn Phillips, David Miller and Chetan Sakariya.

Nathan Coulter-Nile was well supported by his teammates Jasprit Bumrah and Jimmy Neesham, who came back with two and three wickets respectively. Coulter-Nile is hopeful that he will continue to receive support from his teammates in the game to be won against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
“There are world class bowlers on our side and I hope they can pick a few more and I will have my job easier,” concluded Nathan Coulter-Nile.
Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan have put Mumbai Indians on the run in pursuit. The young wicketkeeper batter, who missed a few games due to poor form, got a crack against the Rajasthan Royals bowlers.
He went unbeaten with 50 runs, while Rohit chipped in with 22 runs to win the match by eight wickets.
Mumbai Indians, who are currently fifth in the points list with 12 points from 13 games, will play their final game against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Friday.
