BREAKING: UAE Confirms Next Space Mission to Venus

As further proof that the UAE’s ambition knows no bounds, the UAE has announced a new space mission.

HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, today confirmed that the UAE aims to explore the planet Venus and 7 other asteroids in the solar system, a 3.6 billion km journey that will take 7 times further than the Hope Probe trip to Mars. The announcement is part of the UAE’s ambitious Year of the 50 project.

Once successful, the UAE will be the first Arab nation to land on an asteroid
