Job growth in the United States rose in October

The United States added 531,000 jobs in October, and unemployment fell to 4.6% as the labor market returned after a summer break.

Job growth was also stronger in August and September than previously assumed. The economy added 312,000 jobs in September instead of the originally reported 194,000, the Department of Labor said Friday. August’s gain was also revised higher to show 483.00 new jobs instead of the previously reported 366,000.
