Overcrowding in hospitals caused deaths, say doctors from Betsi Cadwaladr

Dr. Nick Lyons, Chief Medical Officer of Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, said: “There are ongoing challenges in discharging many patients from the hospital for adequate accommodation or care services, affecting the flow throughout the hospital system and on our ability to bring patients to and from through the emergency department in a timely manner. ”
