A first look at this year’s Vancouver Christmas Market (PHOTOS)

After being absent for a year, this holiday event is back and the guests were there for it all.

The opening day was Saturday, November 13, and even though it was raining, ticket holders were queuing up in anticipation of this beloved holiday event.

Vancouver’s Christmas Market opened its doors to those ready to enjoy festive meals, hot mulled wine and hot chocolate and rejoice at the sight of lines from holiday vendors.

The traditional German theme market did not disappoint and brought cheers throughout Jack Poole Plaza. We take a closer look at the fun inside.

Fans lined up on the opening day eager to get inside. Despite the rain and wind, people could not wait to experience the joy of the event.

There really is so much fun to be had and it has a way of turning on the holiday spirit that people have longed for.
