Actor Alec Baldwin and his wife, Hilaria Baldwin, were seen fleeing their New York apartment with their cat after he was hit by another lawsuit involving the deadly “Rust” shooting, this one from screenwriter Mamie Mitchell.
The lawsuit, filed Wednesday, alleges that Baldwin disregarded the film’s gun safety procedures and fired his revolver directly at cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, killing her and injuring director Joel Souza.
“Alec Baldwin intentionally, without justification or apology, put on and fired a gun, even though the upcoming scene to be filmed did not require suspense and the firing of a firearm,” Mitchell claimed in the trial.
Alec and Hilaria Baldwin were seen leaving their apartment on 28th Street around noon. 10 Thursday with minimal luggage.
Hilaria Baldwin, wearing black fuzzy slippers, jogging pants and a sweater, handed the family cat to the driver of the black SUV that the couple used to escape. Alec, wearing a dark shirt and coat, was seen making a phone call to what appeared to be an 800 number.
