Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi stressed the need to intensify joint cooperation to promote the values ​​of tolerance, peace and acceptance of the other in a way that undermines the extremist interpretations adopted by terrorist groups. He called on the international community to develop a multi-level strategy that includes tackling all elements and parties that support terrorist organizations, in addition to confronting extremist ideologies.
It happened when the Egyptian president and his wife today received Prince Charles, Crown Prince of Great Britain, and his wife Princess Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall at the Federal Palace in Cairo.
The official spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency, Ambassador Bassam Rady, said the meeting witnessed discussions on a number of issues of common interest, in particular those related to the fight against terrorism and extremist ideology and ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in a number of areas. , especially at the level of university education and health, in addition to coordinating issues on climate change, in the light of the many initiatives sponsored by Prince Charles in this field, in addition to Egypt hosting the next 27th session of the UN Climate Change Conference in 2022, with the aim of ensure positive results in achieving the goals that the international community has set itself to address this important issue that affects the interests of humanity as a whole, in particular with regard to activating the role of the private sector with its enormous potential to contribute to the reduction of emissions.
