“The worst cold ever” is spreading across southern Florida

The cold and flu season has begun, and South Florida is already plagued by a virus – not COVID-19 – that gives people a runny nose, sinusitis, headache, fatigue, cough, sore throat and nausea. Masks have been extinguished, snowbirds have arrived, social gatherings have resumed, and the South Florida system’s immune system is being hit hard in a way they have not been for years.
