Video: Louis Vuitton store on San Francisco’s Union Square robbed

SAN FRANCISCO, California (CROWN) – San Francisco residents are being warned to avoid the Union Square area due to police activity Friday night.

Around 8:10 p.m., officers arrived at the area after reports of possible looting and vandalism to retail stores.

Police say they have arrested several people involved.

Viewer video shows thieves running from the Louis Vuitton store with merchandise. Some are seen getting into a car as San Francisco police officers surround the car and begin smashing windows.

A video shows the store completely wiped out.

Police are still in the area and responding to other retail stores where reviews were made.
