Christmas lights at St Mary’s Cathedral

A flashy family favorite of the Christmas good mood returns.

This Christmas, St Mary’s Cathedral will once again light up to show the Lights of Christmas projection show on its grand façade.

The nightly show starts at 7.30pm with a choir performance, while the lighting begins at 8.30pm. The theme for this year’s event is “home” with the soundtrack and the digital animation combined to create a unique family Christmas experience.

The performances last 15 minutes and are repeated throughout the evening until kl.

Admission is free and you can bring a picnic or buy dinner on site from a variety of food and beverage vendors. It’s an event in all kinds of weather – unless things get really serious – and fixed seating is limited, so bring a pillow or blanket if you arrive late.
