Covid-19: a death in the Pyrénées-Orientales for the fourth day in a row, the situation is stable in Aude

Update on the health situation in the Aude and Pyrénées-Orientales on Wednesday 24 November.

I Aude, the health situation has hardly changed one iota over the last 24 hours. 41 people with Covid are still being treated in the hospital and 8 patients are still in critical care. No deaths were recorded this Wednesday, November 24th.

It is on a par with the incidence rate that a very minimal variation has taken place. The number of cases per 100,000 inhabitants is 143.5 over the sliding week of 15 to 21 November. It was 143 in the period from 14 to 20 November.

A more tense situation in the Pyrénées-Orientales

That Eastern Pyrenees can not rejoice in knowing the same stability as Aude. A Covid patient died on Wednesday, November 24th. This is the fourth day in a row that the department regrets a death. That on Wednesday brings the total number to 428 dead since the start of the pandemic.

Also no break for hospital indicators. Four Covid patients have been admitted to the hospital within the last 24 hours. This brings the total number to 101 admissions, of which 6 to intensive care (+1 this Wednesday).

The incidence rate undergoes only a slight increase. That is 172.2 cases per 100,000 inhabitants during the sliding week of 15 to 21 November against 171.8 yesterday.
