Reclink Australia celebrates its 30th anniversary with a gala dinner at Marvel Stadium on Friday, December 3rd.

The story of Reclink started as a simple kick-to-kick on an oval in St Kilda when founder Peter Cullen worked as a street outreach worker.

Sir. Cullen from Werribee said that while working in street outreach work: “You saw people living in a lost world where there seemed no clear path to opportunities, no easy positive way for them to get involved in the world.”

Under the guidance of Mr Cullen, Reclink has developed into a national organization that provides sports and arts programs to disadvantaged people.

Reclink’s partnership with more than 450 community organizations has helped create avenues for improved health and well-being, education and employment outcomes for many participants.

Reclink also holds sports sessions at the Wyndham and also supplies athletic equipment and equipment to disadvantaged families.

Legendary Australian singer and songwriter Paul Kelly will perform at next month’s Reclink anniversary event.

Rockwiz ‘Brian Nankervis and radio star Jacinta Parsons will host the evening.

Guests will enjoy a three-course dinner with drinks, auctions and raffles.

Separately, Reclink is also holding a big fundraising raffle to celebrate its thirtieth milestone, with the winner being drawn as part of the night’s course.

The recipient of the first prize will win a four-night luxury holiday to Hamilton Island.
