  • A rumor from Korea says that Samsung has finished the Samsung Galaxy Note series.
  • Rumor has it that the company will discontinue production of the Note 20 series by the end of 2021.
  • There are also rumors that the company has no new Note plans at all.

Now a new report from AND news (h / t 9to5Google) from Korea suggests that the Samsung Galaxy Note line could really be done. According to the report, Samsung may finish production of the current Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series by the end of 2021. This is quite interesting as the company has reportedly produced 3.2 million units in the series and the phone is still selling. It may just not be selling enough to justify new production.

As Sammy has already completed production of the Note 10 line, this would mean that no already released Note phones could be produced as of 2022.

The report also supports the idea that there may not be a new Note phone in 2022 at all. Reportedly, Samsung has no Note phones on its 2022 schedule.

If there was any doubt about the end of the Samsung Galaxy Note line, this article seems to frustrate them.

Of course, there is still the Galaxy S22 Ultra. According to leaks and rumors, it will essentially be a Galaxy Note phone, complete with an S Pen slot. It just does not bear the Note name.

Pour one out to the Samsung Galaxy Note line. It was a good race.
