The Arab coalition announced on Thursday that it had carried out several airstrikes on Houthi military camps and targets in Yemen’s capital Sanaa, according to a statement from the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The operation in Sanaa was targeted at Houthi military camps at the presidential residence in Sanaa, according to the coalition. The coalition also said it monitored movements to transport weapons after the camp was targeted.
“We have taken preventive measures to spare civilians and civilian objects from secondary damage,” the statement said, according to the SPA. “The operation was carried out in accordance with international humanitarian law and its usual rules.”
Earlier this week, the Arab coalition said it was launching airstrikes on Houthi drone sites in the capital Sanaa in the second raid in as many days after previously targeting the missile capability of the Iran-adapted movement.
