The book fair holds the Black Friday shopping event on the e-commerce app

Bookworms will get another taste of the world’s largest book sale using a popular e-commerce platform.

Malaysia-based Big Bad Wolf books Thursday announced that its deliveries in the Philippines will be faster after the launch of its flagship store in the Philippines Lacing.

It also encouraged readers to “put in the basket” their favorite books and then check out on Friday, in time for Black Friday sale which has discounts of up to a full 95% discount.

The Black Friday sale refers to the Friday after the Thanksgiving holiday in the United States. It traditionally marks the start of the Christmas shopping season in the state, with products being sold at big discounted prices.

The Facebook page for the book sale previously hinted that it would be “back” in the Philippines by letting Filipinos guess where they will land next time through a crossword puzzle. The art card also included a graphic of Manila City Hall and a traditional jeepney.

It also gave another hint as it shared a graphic of a tricycle filled with books and a sari-sari shop with the headline “Let’s see each other often from now on, yeah?”

In the comments section, a Facebook user shared that she received packages from book sales.

The story of Big Bad Wolf Books acknowledged her comment and told her to “stay tuned.”

The Big Bad Wolf book sale was almost held in the country last July.

It has been hailed as the biggest book sale in the global community where people can get books as low as P10.

Its founders said book sales seek to attract non-readers and make reading materials affordable to promote a broad culture of reading and reading skills.
