The public prosecutor clarifies the punishment for taking a false oath

The State Prosecutor’s Office clarified through a tweet it published today on its social media accounts, the punishment for those who obliged opponents in a civil case to take the oath or responded to him by taking a false oath. The Public Prosecutor’s Office stated that according to Article 260 of the Federal Penal Code, he can be punished with imprisonment for a maximum period of two years or with a fine that does not apply.
