VANCOUVER, BC: Thursday 25 Nov. Today’s weather is expected to be wet and windy with a temperature of 8 C, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada. A precipitation warning is in effect for the region, with up to 80 millimeters expected near the mountains and 50 millimeters expected elsewhere Friday morning.

The latest storm is expected to subside during the night, and then Friday’s weather should be a mix of sun and clouds with a temperature of 9 C.

The Federal Weather Agency warns that freezing levels will rise over mountain peaks today, which could exacerbate recent floods and affect vulnerable landscapes and infrastructure.

Local flooding in low-lying areas is possible.

Looking ahead, it is back to wet weather for the weekend, with rain in the weather both Saturday and Sunday, high of 9 C and 11 C respectively. Then there is a good chance of showers at the beginning of the week Monday followed by rain on Tuesday and Wednesday with temperatures of 9 C every three days.
