A total of 700 orphans have benefited from specialized training workshops for the “Sanad Al-Bayt” youth project launched by the Sharjah Foundation for Social Empowerment in Ajman in 2022, the Foundation announced yesterday. workshops of the current batch, which are being held at the Fairmont Ajman Hotel.

The foundation said: “We are working to make the most of the summer holidays of our orphaned members through a series of specialized training workshops for the youth project “Sanad al-Bayt” with the aim of improving their social and family skills. , and instilling leadership concepts in each participant. , to play an active role for himself, his family and his community.”

He added: “When the workshops ended, the number of beneficiaries of the project reached 700 men and women, in addition to 174 mothers who benefited from specialized workshops aimed at them, to inform them of the details before the youth workshops. The next stage for the family benefiting from the “home connection” and the project.

The “Sanad Al-Bayt” project is a training model to help and support orphans and mothers to face life with awareness and determination, in line with the vision of the Foundation, from which all its projects arise, which is leadership in the sustainable empowerment of orphans. and families

The project is aimed at children and women over the age of 14, to prepare them to take on their role in the family as mothers’ support and helpers, and to empower them with traditional concepts and skills. their mothers and siblings, for the benefit of the whole family, so that family members have the ability to create A calm and stable home is a fertile environment for success.
