The Liwa Dates Festival organizing committee crowned the winners of the “Al-Dabbas” Dates auction.
This is the third day of the 20th edition of the festival, organized by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority and in strategic partnership with the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), held in the city of Liwa in the Al Dhafra region. ), and the session will end on July 28 this year.
Obaid Khalfan Al Mazrouei, the director of the festival, and Mubarak Ali Al Qasili Al Mansouri, the director of the auction of dates and fruits of the festival, the winners of the auction were Khalifa Suhail Al Mazrouei, Maala Ali Murshid Al The second place was Marar, and the third place was Bakhita Ahmed Damina Al Mansouri .
Sareeya Jadid Al Mansouri was ranked fourth, while Salama Darwish Al Mazrouei was ranked fifth. The organizing committee of the Festival distributed 25 prizes to the winners of the Al-Dabbas auction, a total of 446 thousand dirhams.
Yesterday morning, the festival received tickets for the “Al Khunaizi” date auction, for which the organizing committee distributed 15 prizes worth a total of 397 thousand dirhams.
The Liwa Dates Festival activities attract a large number of spectators to the daily activities and competitions assigned to the visitors at the main stage, the popular market and the pavilions of the partner organizations and participants.
